Privacy Policy

MyShift Pro helps you track your shifts, hours, pay, holidays and bills. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. We are the data controller — contact support@myshiftpro.co.uk.

Two ways to use the app

Without an account. Your data is stored against a random, anonymous device identifier. It is not linked to your name or email.

With an account. We store your email address and a securely hashed password so you can sign in and sync across your devices. We never store your password in plain text.

What we store

Your jobs, pay rates, schedules, shifts, overtime, holidays, paydays and bills. With an account, also your email and any optional reason you give when deleting your account.

We do not collect advertising identifiers, location, contacts or usage analytics. We do not track you, and we never sell or share your data.

How your data is used

Only to provide the app's features, and — for accounts — to sign you in and sync your devices. We email you only for account actions you trigger: email confirmation, password reset, and deletion confirmation.

Where it's stored

On our server in the UK/EU. Account emails are sent via our email provider (Brevo), who process your email address only to deliver those messages.

Exporting your data

Export everything at any time as a one-time transfer code (valid 5 minutes, encrypted, deleted after use). This also satisfies your right to data portability.

Deleting your data

Without an account: Settings → Clear all data, or remove the app. With an account: Delete account — we email a code, then a 7-day grace period begins during which you can cancel. After 7 days everything is permanently deleted.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

You can access, correct, export, and erase your data, and object to or restrict processing. Access, portability and erasure are available in the app. For anything else, contact support@myshiftpro.co.uk; we respond within one month. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Children

MyShift Pro is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
